MOJO STITCHES - IN THE LIBRARY

Libraries, bookshops and reading nooks have alwasy been Mojo Stitches happy places - this design combines some of her favourite elements of these calm, cozy spots.  It is also the first design to feature Joanna's 'Bookshelf' range produced in collaboration with Cottage Garden Threads and to compliment Fox & Rabbit Designs linen. 

This design has a stitch count of 142w x 142h and uses full crosses over tow and some backstitching.  In my model, I used 1 strand of floss over two threads of linen for an antique look - you might like to use 2-over-2 on a lower-count fabric to really see the colours sing.

Model stitched on 36-count 'Baked Clay' by Fox & Rabbit Designs. It is framed in a standard 9x9 inch frame.
