MOJO STITCHES - HAKEA HEART

Originally in the wonderful magazine 'Homespun Australia', this design depicts the blooming of the Hakea - beautiful little native pincushion-like flowers, and the Zebra Finches that like to feed on them.  I hope stitching it brings some Springtime joy to you.

This design has a stitch count of 71w x 105h and uses full crosses over two, long backstitches and French Knots.  In my model, I used two strands of floss over two threads of linen, except where noted.  It is suitable for beginners to advanced stitchers, and can be stitched on linen, Aida or evenweave of anhy count that you prefer.
